Interim Results on Downing of Flight MH17

An international team of investigators on Thursday gave further details about the downing of flight MH17 in Ukraine. Australian Federal Police Commander Jennifer Hurst detailed the analysis that confirmed flight MH17 was shot down by "a Buk missile from the 9M38-series”. While Russia’s defense ministry said on the same day that the country had nothing to do with the plane crash.
