Iraq to Hold First National Election Since Defeat of ISIL

Despite assurances by Iraqi authorities of rigid security measures aimed at protecting the country's election centers, the upcoming election which is the country's first national election since the defeat of ISIL is unlikely to bring the kind of political stability many Iraqis are hoping for.
