The First Ballet School in Indonesia That Uses The Vaganova Method from Russia

Classical music is usually used to accompany and introduce the basics of ballet. In Indonesia, one such school is Sumber Cipta, established in 1977 by school founder Farida Oetoyo. Sumber Cipta is known as the first ballet school in Indonesia that uses the Vaganova method from Russia. This method is brought by the schools' founder herself, through her studies at the Bolshoi Ballet, where she graduated with an international standard for ballerinas. There are three classes in this ballet school, beginner's class, intermediate class and advanced class, Sunday (10/4/2016).
